APD Does Successful Drug Sting in Downtown

My sincere appreciation goes out to APD for there recent drug sting on 5th Street between Trinity and Sabine.  Nine arrests were made in one night including 7 felonies and 2 misdemeanors for possession of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance, manifestation of delivery and a felon in possession of a fire arm.

Man arrested for Manslaughter in Evan’s death

Eric Skeeter,28, is being held in the Travis County jail for Manslaughter in the death of Nikolas Evan’s during a March 27th incident.  Police allege Skeeter and others approached Evan’s and his friend around 2am and then hit both of them.  Evan’s leter died from realted injuries.  Read the Austin Amersican-Stateman article here.
