Denise doesn’t seem to be too worried since she has been playing on her myspace: http://www.myspace.com/lil_deni06 The police were informed but don’t seem to care about even pursuing this dangerous criminal who thinks it’s okay to hold up other young woman at gun point. They hadn’t even checked this out when told by a victim about it! She was told they went to her parents house & were told she went to the store & they called her on her cell from her parents house & told her to turn herself in but of course she just got tipped off to disappear! They had an opportunity to catch her but they are clueless! The police don’t seem to be taken this seriously or doing anything! It’s ridiculous! Where is her young daughter? What do her parent’s have to say about this? What about all her friends on myspace & that she went to school with? She was robbing young woman without any regard for their lives to buy booze and ciggerettes! Someone who regards another person’s life only worth a carton of ciggerettes is a dangerous person in deed! How about some action on this!

Wow! Marshall Jones! How about checking the accuracy of your typing and the name of the suspect! I guess you don’t care so much either! Your update “Is is believed Denisa Gallrdo is armed Read the KEYE Story Here.” The name is Denise Gallardo! I believe you mean “It is believed…” come on! Show you care by being a little more concerned about your accuracy! Does anyone really care out there? It also seems that she is only 20 not 21. Can’t this be easily confirmed?

Frustrated mother!

I have made the typing corrections.

Thank you! I only just found your website today and appreciate that you are trying to do something to help. I have been frustrated that no one seems to be doing anything about apprehending this woman. A simple web search allowed me to find her myspace page with a lot of information about her and it just seems that the police are not taking this case seriously and are not showing any interest in even trying to apprehend this suspect. Why is that?
What can your organization do to help? What if anything are the police doing? She’s the one that held the gun on all the victims. This is a serious crime, is it not? Why is her name and picture not out on the local news?
FYI “identified” is now mistyped…

One more typo “robbery” not “robery”…

Terrible of me! I have now fixed those two typos. This was originally sent from a Blackberry Pearl and it not the easiest of type pads to operate sometimes. I appreciate your kind words about the website and I do use it as a new tool to try to keep people informed of the current crime situation in downtown Austin so that people, like yourself, can attempt to stay up to date and inform the community.

I have forwarded this web page with your comments on to APD. I suggest you contact the police department and let them know of your concerns. I also might suggest you look into the recent budget cuts at APD and see if you feel that may or may not have something to do with their performance in this matter. If you do agree, you may want to contact the City Council members and make them aware of your displeasure at their cutting core services such as APD.

I have also learned that every neighborhood in Austin is covered by an APD District Representive(s) who are not usually patrol based and often are easier to speak with.

Lastly, I might recommend checking your own grammar and spelling before publicly attacking others. Remember the Golden Rule…

You are correct. My apology. I took my frustration out on you and that was unwarranted. I’m very sorry. Thank you for the information.
